Halina Radchenko
Halina Radchenko started her law career working as a young associate for a small law firm where she gained experience practicing in many legal areas early on. After her first year, it was clear to Halina that her calling was to help people navigate the legal process during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. From there, she began to focus on Family Law and Personal Injury.
From her first day as an attorney, Halina was sent to court on a daily basis to hone her trial skills. She supported and reunited countless families through complex cases involving children with special needs and fathers seeking primary custody. Through every case, she helped clients find solutions that resulted in the true best interest of the children involved. Halina also helped clients seek justice for motor vehicle accidents and cases surrounding municipal liability in New York State.
In 2013 Halina was presented with a unique opportunity to join Hach & Rose. From 2013 through 2022, Halina focused on catastrophic injury cases. There she expanded her knowledge of the personal injury field to include premises liability and labor law cases. She was also instrumental in the development of case law surrounding gig economy litigation.
Because Halina also has a strong sense of civic duty, she served as the New York State Trial Lawyers Association President from July of 2021 to July of 2022. During her presidency, she lobbied for law reforms which would provide accident victims with greater access to the courtroom and address inequity in the legal process.
During her year as President, she accomplished something the organization had been working on for over 20 years: the passage of the wrongful death bill by the New York State Senate and Assembly. This was not only a victory for the citizens of New York State, but a personal victory for Halina and her entire family who had been unable to seek justice in 2008 against the at-fault party in her father’s death due to New York’s antiquated and outdated wrongful death statute.
